STRUM-ALONG, ONE ELBOW FROM THREE BEATLES!
How are you all doing out there? Are you surviving the Lacka-uka-pocalypse? (Def: lack of in-person uke events.) I've been working hard on the "Home Festival Swag Bag" for you generous folks who rolled over your Reno Uke Fest registration. But I also want to acknowledge everyone who donated or have supported us in other ways, so I asked Laurence Juber to do something that players of all levels could enjoy. Remembering "Yesterday," when we could all get together, seemed appropriate.
Strum-along with LJ as he plays this gentle tune on his old Martin soprano. For you newbies, I have included chords for both baritone and gcea ukes.
NOW I'M 64
May 4, 2019: A rare opportunity came to me when our concert finale coincided with my 64th Birthday. So channeling Sir Winston Churchill, I rewrote the lyrics for the occasion and held everyone's checks until they agreed to play and sing backup for me. From left to right, Jessica Agg, Muriel Anderson, Alissa Hunnicutt, the hat of Daniel Ho, Dani Joy, James Agg on Double Bass, Casey MacGill on piano, and the Prime Minister being leaky.
MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE
A gorgeous rendition of the Dylan classic from our UK kids, Jessica and James Agg in Cheltenham, England.
And some more tunes from our uber-talented Sir James
