    • What are the dates of the 2020 Reno Ukulele Festival?
      • Wednesday, June 3 - Saturday June 6, 2020. Wednesday is for Early Bird pass holders only.
    • Where is the Reno Ukulele Festival located?
      • Nugget Casino Resort – 1100 Nugget Ave, Sparks, NV 89431 
      • The festival is located on the second floor. When facing the front desk there are escalators behind you and elevators to your left near the restrooms. Both go to the festival area.
    • Is there airport transportation?
      • Yes, a complimentary shuttle leaves from far end of airport luggage area on the half-hour, 5:30AM - 11:30PM. Shuttle leaves from the Nugget to return to airport on the hour, 5AM-11PM. Trip duration is +/- 10 minutes.
    • Are there hotel discounts available to festival attendees? How do I make reservations?
      • Yes! You can book rooms HERE or by calling 800.648.1177 and using the group code GUKE20. All rooms have been renovated and remodeled.
    • What are the discounted room rates?
      • Weeknights $89, Friday & Saturday nights, $129. Plus 13.5% tax and $2.00 tourism fee. There is no additional resort fee. Again, book rooms HERE and use the group code GUKE20 to get a discounted room with no additional resort fee, or call 800.648.1177 and use the group code GUKE20.

    How do I register for the festival?

    • Visit our Festival Passes page here for Festival passes including Early Bird bonus passes and companion tickets.
       
    • What is an Early Bird Pass? It is a "Full Festival Pass" purchased through March 31, 2020, or while supplies last. Buying early gives you a different badge to wear, rewarding you with extra perks, including an additional bonus day on Wednesday, June 3 that offers attractions not offered the other three days and a $20 discount.
    • What is included with a festival pass?
      • There are many different pass levels:
        • All passes provide access to our day stage concerts, presentations, and premium workshops, which provide you with up-close and personal instruction from our talented faculty instructors. 
        • VIP & Premium Early Bird Passes also include admission to our bonus activities on Wednesday, June 3 and admission to two or three 3 evening concerts, depending on the pass type purchased.

    • Where and when do I pick up my festival pass?
      • If you purchase in advance, (highly recommended, pass categories do sell out) you will pick up your badge at the registration table on the second floor, opposite the escalators from the front desk area. The registration table will be available each day of the festival for walkup purchases and information.
      • A Workshop Info Schedule page will be posted in the weeks before the festival. If you are on our email list, you will be notified as the list is updated.

    • What is your cancellation policy? 
  • Concerts In The Celebrity Showroom

    • Can I go to the Celebrity Showroom concerts without buying a festival pass?
      • Yes! Standalone concert tickets are available through TIX.COM.  Once again, VIP and Early Bird passes in include admission to two or three concerts, depending upon type of Early Bird purchased and companion seating adjacent to Early Bird should be purchased on the festival passes page.
    • How do I purchase concert tickets?
      • Standalone concert tickets, except for Premium Early Bird companion tickets for the Saturday show, are available through TIX.COM
         
      • Are the shows reserved seating?
        The Thursday and Friday concerts are open/general/unassigned seating. The Saturday show is reserved seating so companion seating for Premium Early Bird pass holders (who receive a free ticket with their pass) are available only while purchasing the pass on our festival pass ticket page. A limited number of concert tickets may be available for purchase at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis, cash only. Text message 775-220-0995 day of show for updates on availability.
    • Where and when do I pick up my concert tickets?
      • All concert tickets are emailed from Tix.com. You will need to print out your emailed ticket and bring it with you to the concert.
    • Do I have to bring my printed ticket with me to the concert?
      • Yes. Concert tickets must be printed out and presented at the door for concert admission.
    • Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration packet doesn’t match the name of the person who attends?
      • Your badge and emailed tickets are transferable. Once registration is made, you are responsible for your badge or tickets. Treat them like the money you spent buying them. Once a badge is issued at the registration desk, the bearer is entitled to all rights granted. All concert tickets are emailed in advance.
